The Gran Reserva cigars are made with carefully selected tobacco leaves that have undergone a fermentation process of at least five years This new vintage is made with the leaves harvested in 2013: Cosecha 2013. The Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona is dressed with a second black and gold band having the initials G and R stamped all over it. The production of the Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona Gran Reserva is limited to 5,000 boxes of 15 cigars only.The first notes are strong and rich, and the notes of spices and leather are well present. The cigar offers a complex range of flavors while gradually rising in strength. The finish is simply delicious.
