Today. the cigars are rolled in the famous Villazon Factory in Honduras. The Excalibur line is the fuller-bodied blend of Hoyo de Monterrey. The top 10% of the tobacco crops grown in Nicaragua and Honduras is reserved for the Excalibur line. The unique blend of tobaccos gives this cigar a very hearty aroma, and a dry and spicy finish. While production has moved from Cuba, the traditional cultivation and natural fermentation process originally utilized by Hoyo de Monterrey has not changed.
